MRF Contracting were contacted by a local wildlife trust to clear Ash trees affected with Ash die back along a busy road. The trees were on a relatively steep bank, with signs of dead tops. MRF discounted using climbers as a tree risk assessment showed the trees were too dangerous to climb, the steep bank ruled out the use of a MEWP, excavators were used and timber extraction points created to recycle as much of the timber as possible.
MRF Contracting was instructed to create access for a drilling rig to complete a new main installation. The area had been identified as containing Newts, there was livestock in the field and the ground was known to lie very wet.
MRF contracting were contracted as a pre site set up contractor on a new water main project. A farmers field was identified as a suitable compound for the works, a licence agreement agreed, MRF contracting then came in and laid a temporary road to protect tree roots, stripped the soil and laid a hard standing compound for our client
